This kaflooey show was brought to you by the letter “i” and the number 3.

“I See dead people” by Anonymous introduced by Rob from Greendome and Sheck

Your stars and advice with Bobby Gofigure
If you’re not familiar with Bobby’s work, here’s a bit of info from his press pack:
Back in the 80s he was at the top of his game in the fashion world, creating such looks as:

  • “Rolled up jacket sleeves”
  • Pink T shirts
  • “Bare feet in leather”

After that didn’t work out so well in the 90s he went out of circulation for a while.
He’s now back on the scene working as a full time fight choreographer for the WWE wrestlers,
but more importantly he’s a mystic clairvoyant physic astrologician.

Background music for Bobby Gofigure is the podsafe track “The Longing” by Paul Avgerinos – available at magnatune.com

“No one understands” by berman a five piece band from Florida.

Uncle Vinny gives out some “joy food” advice.

Continued thanks to Matthew Ebel for his permission to use the track “Trees” from his latest album “Beer & Coffee” as the theme music for the show

“Wasting my time” by Matthew Ebel, from his album “Beer & Coffee” available now at cdbaby.com

Starting the show – the “Scaramanga” song – as sung by Greendome (Rob) from Greendome and Sheck.
This is our version of the “London’s Burning” song – it keeps us amused anyway.

Kicking off the music – The Wintersleep from Nova Scotia, Canada with “Jaws of Life” – an amazing track that I can’t stop playing.
Thanks to Jud from the band for the permission to play this track. You can check out more of the band’s music and buy their albums at their website: www.wintersleep.com
You might also want to check out www.newmusiccanada.com for more great independent music
A shout out to Bruce Murray from the Zedcast (www.zedcast.com) who’s not only been amazingly supportive in helping me get into podcasting and pointing me in the right direction, but the main inspiration for me doing it in the first place, with his hilarious and inventive skits – so Bruce is to blame :)

Thanks a lot Bruce!
Also to Dave and Gary from the Chub Creek podcast (www.chubcreek.com) who have also inspired me with their sense of humour, music and skits

“Crazy when it gets insane” by the Loosehounds. thanks to Mark from the band for the permission to play this track.

These guys are a British band who are on the verge of making it, and have been played on BBC radio by the likes of Johnny Walker and Bob Harris
If you like what you hear, please go to their website – www.loosehounds.com where you can find out more about the band – where they’re playing, and buy their music.

We hear from Uncle Vinny as usual, who waxes lyrical about communication.
Please send your “problems” complete with false name (and false problem) to kaflooey at gmail dot com

Finishing off the music with, and let me get this right … “Issai Gassai + Hakushu Kassai” by Jesushairdo. A great track from a Japanese office worker / singer / song writer.
Find out more about Jesushairdo here www.geocities.jp/jesushairdosuperstar/

As you can see, I’ve set a frappr map up on the site, so please go to the site and add yourselves, it’ll be nice to put faces to everyone that’s listening.
And please – let’s have your comments – more of this, less of that etc…

  • A bit of lethal weapon to start the show – where I first heard the phrase “Kaflooey”
  • A great track from Matthew Ebel: “Drive Away”, from his latest album “Beer & Coffee”.
  • Matthew was kind enough to give me permission to use his track “Trees” as the intro music to the show – so thanks again for that Matthew!
Please check out his website – matthewebel.com, where you can download more samples of his music, and more importantly – buy his albums.
  • A little skit about, what should I say, throat lozenges
  • “Baha Taxi” by Brain Buckit – a classic track that reminds me of Pulp Fiction. Check these guys out on the podsafe music network, and at brain-buckit.com
  • Vinny’s back again – dishing out some great advice to lost souls
  • A great track “Violent Fellow on the way” – from a Japanese group called 346Battingcenter. Find out more about them here
